Didn’t We Have A Lovely Time | Celebrating Michael Morpurgo and 40 years of Farms for City Children

Michael Morpurgo will join Exeter Festival’s Extreme Imagination on Saturday the 29th of October to discuss his work, including his latest book, – Didn’t We Have a Lovely Time.

Published to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of Farms for City Children, the charity founded by Michael and Clare Morpurgo, Didn’t We Have a Lovely Time! is the – based on a true life – story, illustrated by Sir Quentin Blake, of a boy whose confidence and speech returns after meeting a very special horse down on the farm.

Proceeds from the book will go towards Farms for City Children, helping give more urban children an opportunity to build confidence and ‘learn by doing’ on a real farm.
