A special reading to mark Remembrance Sunday

emembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day we remember those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

At 5pm, Michael Morpurgo will be reading extracts from two powerful stories: War Horse and The Best Christmas Present in the World, at a specially-devised evening of readings, art and music hosted by the National Theatre to mark Remembrance Sunday.
