The Queen’s 90th Birthday

On 21st April, Michael Morpurgo was one of a handful of guests asked to join the BBC for their coverage of The Queen’s 90th birthday at Windsor Castle.

Michael spoke not only of the times he met her majesty, but her fondness for the National Theatre’s production of War Horse, having seen the show herself in 2009.

Joey, the horse from the production, was also on the royal grounds to wish the Queen a very happy birthday.
