Interview with Michael Morpurgo #Armistice100

Ahead of Armistice Day, we will be sharing clips from an interview with Michael in which he talks about the wartime events that inspired his books and how important it is for children to learn about the devastating effects of war through literature.

We’ll be sharing all of the clips to Michael’s Facebook page, and uploading all of the videos to our HarperCollins Children’s Books UK YouTube channel.

In addition, we are hosting a competition on Michael’s Facebook page until Monday 12th November. We are giving away four signed copies of War Horse – The Story in Concert (Audio), and a collection of Michael Morpurgo WW1 stories that are featured in this image. To enter, follow this link.
