A half-written poem, a field with poppies and a series of strange encounters mark the past of four generations of farmers’ families from Ypres . At his favorite spot, looking across the Poppy Field , Max listens to his grandfather’s story, a story about love and perseverance: “It’s our story, my story, the family story.”
