The Petworth Festival Literary Week (Saturday 27 October to Sunday 4 November 2018), has been running since 2011. Starting as a weekend event, such has been the growth in demand for the festival’s literary events, for the first time the festival is proud to announce an extended programme that in 2018 runs to 27 events over 8 days, giving audiences a chance to hear some of the UK’s favourite authors and poets talking about their work, giving readings and signing books.

On Saturday 27th October, Michael is joined by National Theatre War Horse actor Claire Louise Connolly and songman Ben Murray, who accompanies him with a sequence of rousing yet haunting songs specially composed by John Tams for the National Theatre’s award-winning production of War Horse.
