DancerKaz says:

A truly heartwarming story about a young boy who wants to save his Dad's fishing boat from the scrapyard and uses it to take visitors to see the dolphins after rescuing a beached dolphin.

Soph says:

I love this book although it is extremely sad. The poor dolphin, trapped and helpless. The kind boy, willing to help. I love this story and hope you do too. Sophie Banks http://wonnab-blogger.webs.com/

Revilo says:

I reallly like this book because it makes me feel excited, and it keeps you reading all of the way through it. Michael Morpurgo ensures that events are not predictable, and introduces events unexpectedly. I also find it amazing that a small boy like Jim, can be great friends with a dolphin. This book makes you part of it, because of the exciting text, and its brilliant pictures, which help you to imagine the events in the story. I would really rate this as a decent 4 star novel!

Lexie says:

I like this book because it tells you about a boy saving a dolphin who he calls Smiler. Jim helps his dad to get thier boat back on to the sea. I think this book is very sweet.
