i read conker at my house and it was very interesting especially when stevie rooster loses his throne and nick becomes conker king of jubilee park and i always wonder, what are the names of nick`s friends because it said `all his friends were there' and once i read one or two pages i just couldn`t stop till i got to the end. I also like born to run because the story is kind of similar.

My 7 year old son loves this book, and returns to it often. I think this book gave him his first understanding of loss, as it deals with the love of a boy for his pet, then his grief on losing his beloved dog and how he learns to deal with it. I would highly recommend this for enquiring young minds, a lovely read with a good message smile
