Sparrow was an amazing book. I knew little of the life of Joan of Arc and after reading this i feel as if i know her. Even though i was curled up in my bed at home I felt like I was right there with Joan. i cried the night in my bed while reading about how Joan died . From beginning to end it was a joy to read . it was beautifully written i think Micheal Morpurgo is a very talented writer and some day i wish i could write as amazing as him. So on that note i would like to congratulate Micheal Morpurgo on writing this masterpiece.

The best book I've read this year smile I bought this book when I was told that I needed to write an essay for my English class(I'm in Set 1, the top set) and after my teacher read my essay she went out and bought the book smile

Her life, although short, was spetacular, her strenght, moral and belief may though this book show values so important nowadays. Go on Michael continue to surprise our youth.

I borrowed it from my public library. I was amazed as I had never read about Joan of Arc before and it truly made me open my eyes to the torture she faced. And it was amazing how Morpugo had two stories in there. Parallel plots running alongside each other. It has to be my favourite.
