This amazing book is a written by a award winning author Michael Morpurgo. This book is about a boy and his grandpa and how they have such a tight bond. The boy’s grandpa tells him a story of his childhood and that sums up the main character of the book, Antonito. Antonito lives on a small village called Sauceda not very famous or important in most countries/cities but very famous and important to the people that inhabit that amazing village. The story is set in world war II times and funny enough I was learning about it when I was in year 4 . I have been planning to read your book about Robin Hood as I will be learning about it this term. I am so happy that during Antonito’s time of starvation he was taken care of because of his Uncle Juan!

This story is a real page turner and will have you crying out loud. It is about the story of a little boy called Antonito who lives with his family in the Spanish village of Saudeda on a bull farm.  It tells the tale of the special bond that develops between a bull calf and Antonito and the horror of Antonito discovery  that his bull is destined for the bull ring and faces a horrible and gruesome death.  Following this discovery Antonito decides to run away with his bull, a decision that will change his life forever.  You will really enjoy this emotional and compassionate tale of love, friendship, war and survival. A brilliant read! Sent from my iPad

All I have to say is that if I had not read Toro!Toro!my life would not be the same. Michael Morpurgo if you're reading this it would be an honour for you to write another book about a boy named Evan whose parents got a divorce. His dad was the best at football and his mother was the best at music but he did not know which to do,so he said he wanted to do music. The day after he said he wanted to do music his dad died and while im writing this there is a guitar in my hand.
