Michael morpurgo books are always great this books is by far my favourite but the story about the little girl on the beach sent me into floods of tears. But I can't really complain because it was so well written

This was my favourite book as a horse mad youngster. Many great memories of re-reading this book til it fell apart

A great book making you want to read more. Sad in the beginning but happy in the end. Best story was Mad Miss Marney.
