I think the book Hearabout hill is a great book for children aged 10-14 as we can learn a lot from it. When I read it I really enjoyed the book and my favorite of all was The Giants Necklace and Letter from Kalymnos. I liked the book because some of the stories were adventurous some had a sad ending some were romance. It was a mixture of all the stories. So it is very enjoyable!

I extremely loved reading the short tales in this excellent book which clearly displays Michael Morpurgo's unique writing style. Each story unleashed a new emotion from within me. I especially loved reading "Letters from Kalymnos" which touched my heart so much, that I just kept on crying and crying until I ran out of tears! At one point I would be crying because I had just read a heart-warming tale but at the next, I would be smiling with joy from reading another of the short stories. After reading this book, I was encouraged by the touching writing style to carry on reading more of Michael Morpurgo's books and I now want to start reading "Born To Run", which is also by Michael Morpurgo and I hope that it's just as good as From Hereabout Hill!
